What is the GSMA Capacity Building eLearning portal?

The portal allows students to study the GSMA Capacity Building courses completely online. Students can study from anywhere in the world, anytime, from mobile devices and at their own pace.


Am I eligible to take a course?

Courses are aimed at policymakers and regulators at all stages of their career, wanting to expand their knowledge in the mobile telecommunications industry. If you are not a policymaker or regulator, you will not be permitted to take a course.


What are the requirements to complete the online course?

Courses vary in length from three to six weeks and require a commitment of two to four hours per week. Each course culminates with the assessment of a practical multimedia project.


Which platform can I use to access the eLearning portal?

The eLearning portal can be accessed from any computer, mobile device or smartphone with an internet connection and the ability to play videos.


Will I earn a certificate of completion?

Yes, on the successful completion of a course, you will receive a certificate. Submission of the practical multimedia project and weekly participation on the Course Forum and live chat sessions are mandatory in order to receive the certificate.
