SUMMARY:Mobile Connectivity and the AI Revolution
DESCRIPTION:Introduction\nhttps://agylianetwork.sozowebdesign.co.uk/app/uploads/sites/2/2025/05/Mobile-Connectivity-and-the-AI-Revolution-720p.mp4\n\nOverview\nThis four-week course offers a comprehensive introduction to artificial intelligence (AI)\, its applications within the mobile ecosystem and beyond\, and the governance frameworks shaping its use. \n\nThe course begins by exploring AI’s foundational concepts\, emphasising its dependence on high-quality data. It examines various AI techniques\, fields and applications while assessing both the strengths and limitations of the technology.\n\n\n \n\n\nA key focus is the impact of AI on mobile telecommunications and other industries. Participants will explore how AI is transforming mobile networks through automation\, predictive maintenance\, and enhanced customer experiences. The course also addresses key challenges faced by organisations seeking to harness AI’s full potential.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe concept of responsible AI is introduced\, highlighting its benefits and practical implementation strategies. Additionally\, the course examines AI governance\, analysing how global organisations and governments are addressing regulatory challenges. Special attention is given to the EU’s AI Act and its risk-based approach\, which is expected to be influential on other AI regulations worldwide.\n\nCourse Objectives \n\n\nGain a solid understanding of AI’s foundational principles and applications.\n\n\nAssess AI’s impact on various industries\, with an emphasis on mobile telecommunications.\n\n\nExplore responsible AI principles and strategies for implementation.\n\n\nEvaluate international approaches to AI governance and regulation.\n\n\nCourse Enrolment Criteria \nThis course is open to: \n\nRegulators\nPolicymakers\nRepresentatives from academia and international organisations working on regulatory or policy issues\n\nWe cannot accept applications from individuals working in the private sector or those not involved in policy or regulation. \nCourse Completion Certificates \nAll our courses are certified by the United Kingdom Telecoms Academy (UKTA) and accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). \n \n  \nThis course equates to 10 hours of CPD training. \n  \n  \nTo qualify for a course completion certificate\, you must attend the in-person training and complete the feedback survey. \nYou do not have to complete a final project to earn a course completion certificate\, but we strongly encourage you to create one. Putting together a final project will give you an opportunity to reflect on the principles covered during the course and help you discover how they could be applied to your own country.  If you submit a final project\, the course trainer will provide you with valuable feedback that you may find useful in your day-to-day work. \nCourse Structure and Study Time \nThe course consists of four sessions and you will gain access to all of them on the course start date. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the content of the course during two live chat sessions as well as on the course forum. \nThere will be two live chat sessions during this course\, and you should have viewed all the course content by the time the last chat session takes place. However\, you will have three extra weeks to complete the course. If after seven weeks you have not completed the course\, you will have to start it again next time it is offered. \nIt should not take you more than two to three hours of study time per week to complete the course in three weeks. \nIf you decide to submit a final project\, it will probably take you four to six hours to put it together. You will have seven weeks to submit your final project.
